Arti kata "TALLY" kurang lebih seperti jumlah skor atau nilai. Jadi, arti lirik 'Cause no-one's keeping tally, I do what I want with who I like, berarti, "gak ada yang ngitung skor atau nilai, aku bisa ngapain aja sama siapa pun yang aku mau."
Kita tahu lah ya.. kadang-kadang lidah tetangga atau kolega bisa lebih tajam daripada pisau bedah Doctor Stephen Strange. Kita ngapain aja jadi gosip, kita deket sama siapa jadi gosip. Pada akhirnya, melalui lagu Tally, aku rasa BLACKPINK ngajakin penggemarnya untuk menghadapi omongan gak enak dengan sikap carefree (cuek, riang, gak peduli). Mereka juga pengen pendengarnya bisa lebih fierce menghadapi komentar orang lain, lebih baik fokus sama diri sendiri dan dapetin apa yang kita mau dalam hidup ini, selama gak ngerugiin orang lain.
